How To Wire the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket HM40975
Question:
Simply what is the lay out for a green, yellow, white, and brown wire to a 7 pin Truck plug. What goes where? Rather what color is hot on the 4 wire?

The 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975 will require a pigtail for installation, the Tow Ready Replacement 7-Way Harness part # 20147. I have attached for you below the wire functions of each of the wires on this harness.
Red - Left turn and stop
White - Ground
Blue - Electric brakes
Green - Right turn and stop
Black - Battery
Brown - Running lights
Yellow - Reverse lights
In regards to the wires on the vehicle side, you will need to use a circuit tester and test these wire while the signals are activate as we cannot provide specific wire colors and functions for the vehicle.
