Can I Flat Tow a 2007 Honda Element LX with FWD and Automatic Transmission

Question:

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Element LX with automatic transmission and FWD. I’m getting mixed and indifferent answers on whether it can be flat towed as is, with no modifications. I’m looking for “expert” advice ASAP. Please reply....

I looked through some of my resources and from what I'm able to find the 2007 Honda Element LX with FWD and automatic transmission must be towed on a tow dolly with the front wheels up. This is very common for FWD vehicles with automatic transmissions that do not have the ability to disconnect the front drive shaft. I recommend that you confirm this information in your vehicle's owner's manual, since that is the best source of information in these cases.

Since you'll need to tow your vehicle using a tow dolly, I recommend having a look at the Demco Kar Kaddy X # DM9713093, which is a great choice since it has a disc braking system and a tilting bed frame to help make loading and unloading easier. This would be the only way to bring your 2007 Honda Element LX along with you behind your motorhome.

I've also linked a video review of this tow dolly to this answer for you to have a look at.
