Is Draw-Tite Hitch Hidden Like Curt Hitch for 2020 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

In the past I usually buy Draw-Tite hitches because I'm familiar with them but I like the hidden design of the Curt that I see. Does DT have one like that for my 2020 Crosstrek?

The hidden design of the Curt hitch # C12184 is very appealing and since Draw-Tite actually doesn't have a hidden crosstube design for your 2020 Subaru Crosstrek I definitely recommend going with it over the Draw-Tite # 36644. Curt has a great reputation when it comes to trailer hitches and we have actually found that their hitches tend to have better welds and a thicker powder coat which combined means they hold up better than the Draw-Tite versions.

I would like to point out that the hitches you are looking at have 1-1/4" receivers. While this isn't a bad thing, 1-1/4" receivers do limit you to a smaller selection of accessories. Curt does offer the same hitch with a 2" receiver as part # C13382 but if you like the look of the Curt I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98912 instead because it has the same basic design but it boasts a matte black finish that looks better and holds up longer than the classic glossy black finish of other hitches.

We do have another option of hidden hitch that you may be interested in but it is a little different than your traditional hitch. The Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch # 391SUCT18 features a removable receiver so that your Crosstrek looks like it doesn't even have a hitch installed. The catch to this option though is that it is more of an elite design so the price reflects that, plus the receiver can only be used for accessories, not for towing. If you're looking into the towing side of things you need the Stealth Hitches Kit # 391SUCT18T which comes with the receiver, ball mount, and wiring kit.

Installation videos and instructions have been linked for you to check out.
