Hi everyone, it's Evangeline. And today we'll be taking a look at our Bestie Blanket from Kelty right here at etrailer. This is a cute little blanket, great for your indoor and outdoor adventures. So you have like a sleeping bag material on top. You have a very comfortable lining on the inside. So we're gonna take a look at some of the features of this blanket to see if it's the right fit for you, who you're traveling with and the types of adventures you're going on.

So this is designed as a single blanket. So if you like the features of this blanket but you want it a bit bigger, like good for two, then you can the pretty much exact same blanket but as the Biggie Blanket. So check those out here at etrailer.com. You have different color options for those too. For the Bestie Blanket, you have some different design options.

So this is gonna be the blue and the brown option that brown looks kind of like a tree or bark design. You have other options too, like navy or orange and white or red and gray, check those out. So the difference between this and other I would like to say regular blankets of the same size is that this is super lightweight but has some extra design features compared to your quilts, compared to your throw blankets. So this utilizes the CloudLoft insulation. So that insulation there is very lightweight but also keeps you warm.

What's always impressed me about the Kelty blankets is the way they sew things. So notice how nice and neat their stitching is. You have this quilt-like stitching because of the insulation on the inside but that fill there is very well distributed. It doesn't feel lumpy. It feels soft, but also warm.

So the size of this blanket is gonna be 6 feet and 4 inches long by 3 feet and 6 inches wide so that's 3 and a half feet. So as you can see here, with our 2-person mattress, it doesn't completely cover the mattress. The blanket that does is gonna be the Biggie Blanket. So you can see here how this is gonna be the perfect fit for a single person. And if you want double, go ahead and get the double version. Now I've learned this the hard way, but I prefer having sleeping bags and it's nice to see in blankets too, that have stuff sacks, because it's so much easier to tear down camp the next day, when you can just stuff it right into this stuff sack. So this is included with your blanket. Once you have it fully stuffed in there, you're gonna have a cinch strap that goes on top. You also have this little lid that goes on top too and secures your Bestie Blanket. So this is going to weigh only a pound and a half. So very lightweight. The dimensions when it's stored will be about 6 and 3 quarter inches wide and 11 and a half inches tall. Depends on how you stuff it. You do have this very convenient carry handle but since it is so small, depending on the size of where you store your sleeping bags, it might not be large enough to fit in there. So you could just store right inside your bag or hiking pack or in the trunk of your car or in any of your cabinets in your camper. And just like that, you're ready to go on a hike. So my personal thoughts about the Bestie Blanket is if you're just looking for a nice upgrade to your throw blankets or to your quilts that you usually bring when you go camping or hiking, I would go with this. Since it is made of polyester especially on that top design layer, it's very easy to brush off the dirt, clean that off. It doesn't gather it like some of your other blankets would. And since it's so lightweight and compact, it's very easy to store inside your pack or inside of your camper. So it's ready to go when you're ready to go.
