Recommended 2-Bike Rack and Trailer Hitch for 2020 Mazda 3 Hatchback
Question:
Which trailer hitch do I need for my 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback ? I'd also like a recommendation for a 2 bike rack. I ride pretty frequently and I want a rack option that's easy to use, not terribly heavy. I don't mind spending some money, I want something that will last several years.

For the hitch, we have the # C98BR Class I hitch from Curt, you can see the installation instructions by clicking the provided link.
For a bike rack, I'd recommend a platform type rack. Platform racks are easier to load and hold the bikes more securely. Since you're a fairly regular biker, you've likely got a little more invested in your ride than a casual rider, so you'll need a rack that holds it securely and prevents it from swinging and hitting into another bike or the rear of the vehicle. The Kuat Transfer, part # KU74FR isn't the lightest rack out there, but it's nowhere near the heaviest. The rack's U-Shaped support arms make stepping in close to load up the first bike very easy. The rack holds the bike securely by the wheels, so nothing will touch a painted surface. If you click the provided link, you can see a product demonstration video showing how the rack works.
You will also need a stabilizer strap like the # 18050.
