Locating Replacement Latch Locks for 1995 Kingston Two Horse Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have lost the set of keys for the tack room doors on my 1995 Kingston Two Horse Trailer model: BRI, type:TRL. I am hoping to replace the locks on the left and right side doors that provide entry into the lack area but am uncertain which type I should buy. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's a little hard to see exactly what kind of lock your Kingston Horse Trailer is equipped with on the picture but from what I can tell it looks awfully similar to a flush-style latch like the Paddle Handle Locking Latch # PLR5115.

Unfortunately trailer manufacturers don't typically do a good job of keeping track of information like this (or sharing it if they do) so I'm not able to verify an exact replacement based on the trailer model. Your best bet will be to take a few measurements on your existing lock and compare it to this unit to see if it will work well.

The Paddle Handle Locking Latch measures 5-1/2" long and 4-1/4" wide. It requires a cutout that's 4-5/8" long and 3-3/8" wide.

If this doesn't look like it will work I have also attached a link that will take you to our available selection of similar style locks that you can look through.
