Recessed-Mount Light
Recessed-mount trailer lights install with a grommet, which is often sold separately. These lights extend past the trailer surface and require a hole for installation. If replacing a light, you can utilize the pre-existing hole. If installing a new light, you will need to cut a hole or use a mounting bracket (sold separately) to complete the installation.

Video Transcript for Bargman Trailer Lights - Tail Lights - 30-84-008 Review
Today we are looking at the Bargman Recessed Double Tail Light with Backup Light 84 series, part number 30-84-008. This light functions as a combination brake, tail, and turn light signals. Made with 16 gage power and ground wires included. The tail light bulb is a 2057 double filament. The reverse light bulb is 1156 single filament.
It comes with a limited one year warranty. Lets go ahead and connect it to a power supply so we can see what it looks like when its lit up. This light must have all four wires connected to get all light functions. This power supply will hook up the tail light first. Our white wire will be four our ground, the green wire will be for our running lights, and the black wire from the tail light will be for our brake and turn signal. Theres our running light lit up, and our added brake and turn signal. Now well go ahead and turn off our overhead light so we can see what it looks like when its dark. Theres are running light, our added brake, and turn signal.
Well go ahead and disconnect my brake and turn signal and add my reverse light. With our running light on the added reverse signal. Well turn off the overhead lights again, and theres what our reverse signal looks like in the dark. And there you have it for Bargman Recessed Double Tail Light with Backup Light 84 series, part number 30-84-008.

Replaced original 1993 Winnebago Minnie Class C tail lights. They worked great and fit perfectly. Did not realize how dim the old ones had gotten till I installed and tested the new ones. I have ordered many things from etrailer and they never disappoint. Good prices and fast shipping.

I replaced my worn out Tail light Covers on a Class C RV. with these Bargman double tail lights. They are a huge improvement to the original factory lights from 2006... They look awesome in place, and feels great knowing I don't have Old faded cracked and warped lights anymore. What I like about them is the is the shrouded plastic structure that surrounds the lights, which provide a flush seal to the body/side of the RV using 6 screws. The installation did require enlarging the previous openings from orig. factory. A dremmel tool works fine or even a keyhole saw. But all worth it. Very Happy with my NEW Tail Lights! Thank You etrailer!

The part received was a perfect match for the OEM and installation was simple. The only negative was the gasket between the assembly and trailer body was not included. The original 10 year old gasket was in poor condition but will have to do until I locate replacements.

There just isn't any database or cross reference that would provide that information. My contact said that these don't have gaskets but when he worked on their install team they used to use Butyl Tape like what comes in the Camco RV Vent Installation Kit # CAM25013 to seal the light to the skin of the trailer and Silicone like part # 0160297 over the top.

For a similar light that does use LED you would want the Bargman # 47-84-008. This uses an LED light for the brake/tail/turn signals but an incandescent for the reverse lights. Sometimes the problem is for the turning signals or flashers. This is basically impossible to know in advance if it will be an issue, but if you find that it is an issue you just need to install load resistors...
