Can Rear Center Fascia Panel be Reinstalled After Curt Trailer Hitch is Put on a 2009 Buick Enclave
Question:
Hello... Ive read that the rear fascia panel can be mounted again after a hitch is installed on some Traverses or Acadias. Can you tell me if this is possible with a Curt on a 2009 Enclave AWD CXL?

In my experience the fascia trim panel cannot be replaced on the Buick Enclave vehicles after the installation of any of the hitches that are available for that vehicle. This is because the fascia for the Enclave is shaped differently than the ones for the Traverse. I posted a photo that one of our customers sent in showing how he trimmed that center fascia piece so that he could reinstall it on his vehicle. We also have a hitch install video on a 2012 Enclave for you to review, see link.
We have found that on some models like the 2011 and 2012 Chevrolet Traverse that customers do indicate that they were able to reinstall the center fascia piece, but as you can see in our video, at the 30 second mark, this part is shaped differently on the Traverse than it is on the Enclave. You can see an Enclave center fascia piece at the 50 second mark of the attached video. If your fascia piece is shaped similarly to the one on in the Traverse video, you may be able to reinstall this piece after the hitch is installed.
Another option may be to check with the dealer to see if a center fascia piece that is compatible with a trailer hitch installation is available.
