Curt Hitch C13416 vs EcoHitch Hitch Ground Clearance for 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
Question:
Trying to decided between the two, but I have 2 questions... How much ground clearance would I get with the Eco Hitch as Opposed to the Curt hitch and how much do they rub on the bottom of the bumper? Id rather get one of these than the OEM since that one requires cutting into the bumper itself. Thanks =

Between the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13416 and the EcoHitch # 306-X7396 for your 2019 Toyota RAV4 the EcoHitch will provide slightly better ground clearance but it is going to require some trimming on the rear fascia to allow room for the 2" receiver. The 2" receiver for the Curt hitch will sit just below the bumper fascia so it offers a much easier installation process without any modifications, while still providing a really clean design with a mostly hidden crosstube.
We haven't had a chance to install the EcoHitch to obtain a specific ground clearance measurement but when we installed the Curt # C13416 on the 2019 model RAV4 we measured a distance of 12" from the ground to the top inside of the receiver.
I have attached a couple images of the Curt hitch installed so you can see exactly how it looks, along with the full installation video that you can use for reference. Between these two options I do like the Curt model because of its easier install process and friendlier price point.
