Best Trailer Hitch for a 2019 Chevy Volt
Question:
Hi, I have a 2019 Chevy Volt and I'm looking to to add a trailer hitch to my vehicle so I can toss a 1 bike rack on the back. I'm a little concerned about looks but I also don't want a whole long tube hanging under my bumper because I know that will reduce the clearance on an already short vehicle. What trailer hitch is best in this situation?

For your 2019 Volt, I recommend the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7338 which has a 2" receiver that actually hides behind your rear license plate. This gives you a great OEM look when you aren't using the trailer hitch plus it doesn't reduce your ground clearance at all. While this is a really novel idea, it does require you to cut a hole out in your rear bumper so that you have access to the receiver.
I recommend using the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack # RKY87RR to transport your bike because it is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" receiver, plus it comes with bike and rack locks, and it secures the bike by the wheel, so it fits with any bike frame that doesn't have a front fender.
