RV Power Control Panel Conversion With Progessive Dynamics Charger

I have a 2007 Forest River travel trailer Model T23FBL that has a fried 60 amp 12v converter. Is it possible to disconnect the 12v portion of the existing power control panel and install a 12v converter like the PD9270? I am having no luck finding a 60 amp control panel that will fit existing 12W x 11 1/8H cutout. Thank you,

I contacted Progressive Dynamics and it is possible to plug the Progessive converters directly into the existing power control panel on the Forest River however the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger part # PD9270 is 70 amps so you would want to replace it with a 60 amp.

I recommend Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger part # PD9260C which is the same converter but 60 amps.

Yes we can. The correct replacement converter would be the part #PD9270 to replace your WF9865.

The largest gauge wire that can be ran to the positive and negative terminals of the Progressive Dynamics #PD9270 that you referenced is 2 gauge. You could wire two batteries in parallel from these terminals as well.
