Can Titan 7,500 lb Surge Actuator Replace Aero 6000 Kit on Trailer

Question:

I have a circa 2005 titan Aero 6000 surge system. It recently started locking up after backing then pulling forward. I noticed a leaking wheel cylinder and had both brake drum systems replaced and bled. It is still locking up. Is the titan aero 7500 a direct replacement for it? Or does the whole system need replacing? Thanks

The Titan actuator part # T63FR that you referenced would work well as a direct replacement for your Aero 6000 surge actuator. Since you have replaced the assemblies already you wouldn't need to replace anything else when installing this actuator since the lines themselves are fine.

Most likely your current actuator has a bad master cylinder and shock so replacing the whole thing is a great way to make sure the problem is taken care of.
