Is There a Lift Kit for a 2019 Airstream Nest

Question:

I just bought an airstream Nest. When I was leaving a gas station, the dip into the road damaged the trailer hitch jack. The plate was crushed and mechanism destroyed to lift the trailer. Could I purchase a lift of 8 inch To reduce the chance of this happening again. I am using a pilot to pull the trailer.

There is absolutely a lift kit for your 2019 Airstream Nest, the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01, which is going to give your Airstream a lift of 2-5/8" (a lift of 8" is not available because it would throw off the weight balance of the trailer and make it really difficult to control). Though it isn't the height you were looking for, 2-5/8" is actually a really good amount of lift for a trailer and will definitely help reduce the chance of any part of your Airstream coming into contact with the ground.

Airstream does a great job of listing all the parts they use on their trailers and due to that I was able to find out that your 2019 Airstream Nest has a single 4,000 lb #10 Torflex torsion axle, which is exactly what the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01 was designed to fit.

I have added a link to a video review of this kit for you to check out as well.

A better way to add clearance would be to simply remove that removable "jack plate" by unclipping the spring-loaded pin holding it in place while parked. It's not meant to be left on the trailer when it's being towed, and will add the requested 8 inches of clearance without making modifications.

I measured under my Airstream Nest and the bolts for mounting the Dexter axle are spaced 9 1/2" apart. I believe this lift kit has an 8" bolt spacing?? I just want to be sure before purchasing the kit. Thanks!

The bolt holes on the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01 are indeed spaced apart by 8" (center to center).
