Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendations for a 2011 Honda Fit Sport
Question:
The slicing and moving of the muffler sound like an accident waiting to happen for a non-handy person. Do you need to have the car on a ramp? Will this rack fit a Honda Fit sport 2011. Saw no reference to this model. Thanks.

The Curt trailer hitch, # 11064, does fit all models of the 2011 Honda Fit. You do not have to do anything with the exhaust on the vehicle for installation other than possibly lowering it to make installation easier. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to review. There is some drilling required for installation which you will see in the instructions.
If you plan on doing some towing, the hitch comes with the correct ball mount, hitch pin, and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256. For a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And, for trailer wiring, use # 118420. I have included a link to the installation instructions for the wiring as well.
