Location of Trailer Wiring Harness Connector on 2010 Lexus RX350 Equipped with Tow Package
Question:
Reviewing the sticker of my 2010 rx350 it has the towing prep package which includes trans cooler hd alt, and rad but mentions nothing of extra wirering. Your trailer preped wire harness just has a plug on the end. Wher do I find the mating end on my car to plug it into.

The connector for the # 118252 is located behind the rear bumper of the vehicle, just a bit left of the rear bumper centerline. The photo I produced will show the location.
Before purchasing the # 118252, confirm the presence of the connector. You should also remove the protective cover from the end of the plug and use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and confirm that the circuits are active. One of each of the 4 sockets in the connector should show power when the left turn, right turn, running lights and brake lights are activated.
