Will Curt Hitch C15300 Fit 1988 Ford F-150 With Dual Gas Tanks

I have 1988 f150 with dual tanks. Would this hitch still fit correctly without modifying the rear gas tank that is in place of a spare tire?

I contacted Curt and as long as the gas tank does not cover the frame at all on the 1988 Ford F-150 the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15300 will fit the truck with the dual gas tanks. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

If you need to replace the trailer wiring, I recommend part # 118316 for a 4-pole connector.
