Does Hitch Install on 2019 GMC Terrain Require Dropping Exhaust

Question:

Does the exhaust on a 2019 GMC terrain need to be lowered to install this hitch? Also I need a 4 flat plug with harness are there any available that have a bracket for the plug so its not just the wire hanging?

The exhaust of your 2019 GMC Terrain does not need to be lowered to install the etrailer.com hitch part # e98904 that you referenced. While we don't have a hitch for your vehicle that has a 4-way mounting bracket we do have other solutions like the 4-way bracket # 18140 and # 18144. This will wrap around the hitch tube and give you a bracket like you are wanting.

For a 4-way then you'd want the part # 119250KIT.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.

Needing a hitch for a 2019 GMC Terrain Denali. The rear bumper has the integrated hitch cover. The hitches listed on the site look like they site below this? Website lists either Draw-tite or Curt hitch. Will these actually use the hitch cover as designed or sit below?

Those will sit below the bumper fascia cover that you are talking about. If you're wanting a hitch receiver that will fit behind that cover then you'll probably need to get the OEM receiver.
