Per the posted Q and A I also have the 10 amp mini fuse with my kit.

I reached out to my contact at Tekonsha regarding the OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22117. He said the kit was recently changed to include the 10 amp fuse to use if necessary on certain vehicles. You do not need to use the fuse and for the majority of applications it simply serves as an extra part.

The Tekonsha OEM Replacement wiring part #22117 comes with three fuses. It comes with one 25 amp fuse and two 30 amp fuses. It also comes with 3 inline fuse holders. There should not be a 10 amp mini fuse with the kit. This Tekonsha harness is meant…
