Does The 2018 Chevy Express Van 3500 Have Factory Wiring For 7-Way Plug

Question:

I have a 2018 Chevy Express 3500 van which under the dash I do already have installed from factory the brake module wiring existing the one problem I do have is that there is no 7 pin connector at the back of the vehicle it has not been installed. I am wondering where is the wiring for the brake control at the end of the vehicle I cannot find it but I do have the brake control wiring for the module up front.....how do I go about getting this wired and a 7 pin receptacle in place

The 2018 Chevy Express Van does have the brake controller wiring existing to wire in the brake controller if it has the towing package but that does not mean all of the wires are extended to the back of the vehicle. There may be a round plug with a cap inside your driver's side frame rail and if there is you can plug Hopkins 7-way plug # 30955 into the port for the 7-way.

If there is not a round plug inside your driver's side frame rail then you may have a bundle of wires extended to the back of the vehicle for you hidden inside the jack storage compartment. If that is the case then you can use # 37185 to attach to the labeled wires and your existing 4-pole flat on the van. If you do not have a 4-pole flat already, you will need part # 118392 as well.

If you do not have any bundled wires in the jack storage compartment, you will need to install the 7-way from scratch using # ETBC7 that comes with the wiring, circuit breakers and 7-way plug with bracket. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
