Making 7-Way to Camper Shell Third Brake Light Adapter

I have a 2019 Chevrolet 2500 hd with duramax engine I add m going to be putting on a leer truck cap . If I buy a fifth wheel 7 pin connector for that plugs in th o existing 7 pin bumper connector then run it up and mount it into bed then to get center high mounted brake light on cap tp work do I use a pacer logic module and hook it to my 7 pin wiring in truck bed and to the cap light

You can use 7-way trailer wiring with the module part # PP20-702 to provide power to the third brake light of your camper shell/cap. Basically the stop/turn circuits of the trailer wiring need to run to the yellow wires of this module and then the green wire goes to the third brake light.

For an 8 foot 7-way plug and lead you'd want the part # 277-000143. The wire colors of this you'd run to the module are red and brown.

Yes, you can use the factory trailer connector on your 2015 Nissan Titan to power the third brake light on your Leer camper shell. That said, they don't make a plug and play harness for this so you will need to do some wiring but no splicing…
