A 5.30-12 trailer tire like the excellent Kenda K353 # AM10066 will be about 0.7 inch wider and 1.2 inches taller than the existing 4.80-12 size tires you currently have mounted. As long as you have the fender and frame clearance available for this slightly larger tire then you can absolutely make this switch. Keep in mind that only half of each of those differences in size will actually affect these clearances.

We recommend having at least 3 inches of clearance between the top of the tire to the fenders to allow for suspension travel and at least 2 inches between the tire sidewall and trailer frame.

This particular Kenda trailer tire features a maximum load of 1,045 pounds at 80 psi. You will be able to use your existing wheels with the new tire.
