Troubleshooting Swift Hitch Camera Where Reception Has Gotten Worse Over Time
Question:
My Swift Hitch SH01 is about 6 years old, it has worked well for me. However, lately it seems to be more snowy, more often. I almost couldn’t hitch up because of poor visibility with the screen. I recently added a TPMS to my trailer, could this be the culprit, or should I mount the camera higher for a more straight line of sight to the receiver? When the receiver is next to the camera, the image is perfect.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The reception shouldn't be fading with time on the Swift Hitch which leads me to believe the TPMS you have could possibly be interfering. You could try disconnecting them to see if the signal changes, but either way moving the camera up higher should improve the reception so I would try that first?
