Chucking with Reese Goose Box Pin Box

Question:

Hi, I have a Ford F-250 turbo diesel with an Atwood goose neck pin pox 2 5/16inch ball. I have a Reese goose box on my 5 th wheel. I have noticed a chucking effect and wonder if there is a reason for the. Bucking or is there something I can do to adjust the goose box to reduce the chucking? Thank you

Some chucking when towing a gooseneck is to be expected. Especially on starts and stops. However, if it's excessive you could have something else going on. Try adjusting the air bag in the Goose Box. You may have to try different amounts of air to find the correct ride. If you've had the Goose Box for awhile and just started to experience a larger amount of chucking you should inspect the air bag and make sure it isn't damaged.
