Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Westin Replacement Mounting Kit. This kit is going to provide all of the hardware needed to get your Westin Sportsman Grill Guards installed. This will work for the numbers that you see on the screen there. So if you have either of those grill guard models, this is going to work for you. It's gonna be a direct replacement from Westin so you can trust it is gonna fit.
You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. So if you need any of the original hardware, whether it's gone missing, or whether it's been damaged, this is going to provide all of the mounting hardware that you'll need. So you'll probably have lots of spare pieces on hand for the future if you're just needing to replace one piece or another, but you'll always have those backups available to you. So let's start. I bought this type brush guard off Craigslist in great shape and it didn't have any mounting brackets or anything. For $175 I couldn't pass it up. As I researched kits online, it wasn't easy searching for some reason. I found this site and saw that there's many kits for many applications. I found this kit to be the best looking as far as the thickness of the pieces and the coating on them. Came in the mail in a few days or so. They bolted up perfectly to the frame and guard, and it's solid. The hardware is cool, has lock-nuts, good bolts and thick washers. I live on my family dairy farm and we have a lot of deer around here, so I definitely wanted frame mounts that would hold the guard still enough lol. I'm happy with the purchase and if I ever need anything like this again I'm coming here. The vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Suburban btw

Ordered a 40-117PK for my Westin Sportsman brush guard for my 2003 Chevy. I bought the brush guard from a friend but he left the mounting brackets on his truck when he sold it. Everything bolted up easy and fit great. Ordering was easy and Noah E the sales rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. Shipping was really fast order on Monday and it arrived Wednesday. The frame brackets are perfect but the upper brackets did not fit correctly. I had to cit some of mu plastic cover,i did not like doing that but all in all i satisfied. Could be a little better pics on the directions. Great product and fast delivery though.

I bought a brush guard from a guy for $50. The brackets it came with were all for an HD model Chevy (along with random different sized bolts to hold it all together). Which as you can guess, I only have a 1500. These brackets fit right in and had no issues installing.

Bracket fit my 2002 Avalanche to mount a westin brush guard. Heavy duty. Good hardware. Costly at $xx but worth it. Could not reuse my bumper hooks, even reverse mounted, but the guard for well.

This replacement mounting hardware kit fits the Westin # 45-1170 or # 40-1175 Grille Guards, which are NOT a fit for the 2005 Silverado 2500, only the 1500LD model.
