2018 Toyota Tundra SumoSpring Recommendation for Towing 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2018 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 and tow a fifth wheel with 10,000# GVWR and 1,500# dry hitch weight. Havent measured, but probably getting about 2-inches inches of sag when I hookup. Was considering Timbren, but saw several reviews on harsh ride, so I am considering the SumoSprings. Whats your thoughts on the Timbren vs SumoSprings, and which model number do you recommend?

For your 2018 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-610-54 to give you the load leveling you desire. The SumoSprings have more of a progressive load support than the Timbren springs. Timbren has a great quality spring, but they are more of a firm support so sometimes they offer a harsh or more rigid ride when not under load when you hit a big bump or pot hole.

The SumoSprings are more transitional but still give you great load support. They will compress up to 80 percent to give you the support you need under the weight of your 5th wheel trailer.
