Towing Trailers with 4-Way Connectors Using a Vehicle With a 5-Way Connector
Question:
Both of my trailers have for pin plugs for the wiring hardest but my new vehicle has a 5 pin plug on the back of it is there an adapter that I can buy or do I have to change out the whole 5 pin plug or change out both of my trailers one and is a boat trailer and 1 is a trailer I pull my lawn more with a small 4 by 8

Actually, you don't have to change anything. The 4-way connectors on your trailers fits into the 5-way on the vehicle except you'll have an extra pin not being used. Since it's the trailers that are missing a pin that means you don't need that function, which is likely a reverse light circuit.
If you want you can replace the connectors on both trailers with a 5-way like part # HM47910 but you still won't use the function of the fifth pin. The other option is to replace the 5-way on the vehicle with a 4-way. This isn't always the best option unless you replace the entire harness. If you just cut off the connector and replace it with something like part # HM48035 you'll lose the function of that fifth pin if you ever need it in the future.
If it were me I'd leave it as is.
