How to Adapt Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar RM-676 for Motorhome with 6-Pole Connector
Question:
My motorhome has a 6 round not a 7 round. Is there and adapter and will that affect anything? Thanks.

You can use the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-676 on your motorhome that has a 6-pole wiring connector by using an adapter # 337TC1067P. You will just want to confirm the function/pin configuration on the motorhome socket to verify that the center pin carries the 12V auxiliary power circuit. If you apply a circuit tester like # PTW2992 to this center pin and detect continuous 12V then the adapter will work fine. If you have a small 12V light bulb or a volt meter those can be used to test also.
The other option, which is a better choice from a long-term reliability perspective, is to remove the 7-way plug from the tow bar cable and replace it with a 6-pole # RM-910030-8.
You can refer to the linked diagram for the correct function/pin assignments on both connectors.
