How To Install the Curt Hitch C13145 on a 2003 Dodge Dakota Sport
Question:
it states no drilling which I like........my question, do i have to remove any bolts on the frame or bumper for this installation and 2nd question, do i have to remove my spare to install? Also, what lighting harness do you recommend.

Yes, you will need to remove one existing bolt on your driver side frame rail in order to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13145 or any trailer hitch for that matter on your 2003 Dodge Dakota Sport. In regards to your spare tire, this will not need to be removed or lowered to perform the install whereas most others do require this. As you mentioned, this trailer hitch is a no drill option for all 97-04 models.
For a trailer wiring harness, I highly recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55329 which is a plug and play fit. All you need to do to install this is remove your tail light which is super easy, plug in the connector, and then run the 4-way to your bumper which you can secure with the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat part # 18144.
