How to Carry 4 Bikes On 2018 Ford Focus
Question:
I like the ability to switch from 2 bike to 4 bike however, I have a 1-1/4inch hitch instead of a 2 inch. Is there a 1-1/4inch version of this bike rack?

I was able to find in your account that you have a Draw-Tite Class I hitch part # 24872 on the 2018 Ford Focus. Draw-Tite Class I hitches are designed to only accept Class I accessories. It is recommended to only carry 2 bikes on a Class I hitch because the bikes would be too far from the receiver. This produces excessive stress on the hitch which can damage the hitch, the vehicle, and result in loss of the bikes and bike carrier.
I recommend using the Curt # C18085 in the 1-1/4" hitch and putting the other 2 bikes on the roof of your Focus. If you let me know if the Focus is a 5 or 4 door and if it is a RS model, I can recommend a roof rack if you do not already have one.
