Can Curt C18085 2 Bike Platform Rack Carry 2 Women's Comfort-Style Bikes w/ Step Through Frames

Question:

Will the arms of this rack both go down as far as necessary to secure 2 womens comfort bikes. All the pictures seem to have a mix of bikes with 1 having a cross bar and the other not. They are identical step thru bikes and would require that both supports come down the same distance.

Because one of the hooks is longer, it is indeed possible to safely secure two bikes with the same frame height. The answer to your question will depend on the exact geometry of the step-through frames. The wheelbase of the rack is adjustable so that in many cases one bike can be slid one way, and one the other far enough so that the frame hooks will catch. If it won't, a frame adapter like # 64005 which spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and seat post would provide a secure attachment point for the bike rack hooks.
