Does Rear Bumper of 2012 Mercedes GLK Class 4-Matic Need to Come of to Install Hitch

I have a 2012 Mercedes 4 matic. Do I need to remove the rear bumper to install?

When we installed the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75774 in a 2012 Mercedes GLK Class 4Matic we had to trim the bumper tabs but the bumper did not have to be removed. Check out the install video I attached that shows this hitch installed on a 2012 GLK just like yours.
