Recommended Trailer Wiring and Brake Controller for 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite
Question:
Hi, we have a 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite, well be adding the towing package soon, but the wiring harness Honda offers for the Odyssey appears to be a 4 pin connector and it looks like the RPod 178 camper well be buying has a 7 pin connector. We also will be needing a brake with this setup and Honda doesnt seem to have one of those. What wiring options would you recommend for this situation? Thank you!

For your 2019 Honday Odyssey you can get the factory wiring harness for the 4-way or you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module - 4-Way Flat # 118781 which installs behind the driver's side trim panel in the cargo area.
Then to upgrade to the 7-way you will use either the # ETBC7 for most brake controller applications or use the # ETBC7L for the Curt Echo brake controller # C51180. This controller doesn't require any wiring into the cabin of your vehicle so this is my recommendation for your new Odyssey Elite
I've attached some videos to assist.
