Troubleshooting Brake Controller Installation on 2016 Chevy Traverse with Factory Tow Package

Question:

Installed with pigtail adapter but not getting any power to the brake controller. This is on a 2016 Traverse LTZ with factory tow package. Is there something I’m missing. Thanks

If you used the correct wiring harness # 3026-P, then you will need to test your factory harness in the lower left pin location for 12V power using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.

If your fuses are good the only other thing is to check your wires under your hood as some vehicle require physically connecting a wire that is already run to a terminal. I've attached an article with photos to assist with this.
