Super excited about this basket option for the light trips around town. Very nicely constructed and assembles without concerns.
Multiple instruction sheets included with pictures of each step in the process.
The basket can be a bit bouncy on bumpy trails & roads, but appears to be built sturdy & secure. The quick release is a bonus; it's QUICK and easy! Last but not least, managed to get around the brakes cables without compromising the lines as seen in pic file.
We mounted this basket on my wife's Electra Townie Path 9D and she loves it. Only a couple of small complaints. Even with the good instructions provided, we found mount the basket was not easy. Needed between 3 and 4 hands to get it done. But after the first one, I think mounting a second basket would be much easier since we'd know what we were doing.
Only other issue is that the combination of the basket and the type of bike means there is no good place to mount the headlight. Still trying to figure out a way to mount the light to the front of the basket without compromising the basket itself.
Easy enough installation, simple and accurate instructions. Pros: You can easily remove only the basket and carry you stuff. It's great for the beach or shopping. I really like the support under the bracket that goes around the handlebars. It keeps the bracket and basket in place when something is heavy in the basket. Cons: My wife wishes the basket was a little larger(4 stars). Still, a great product. Thank you.
The basket attachment was pretty easy to put on my handlebars. I'm not very good with this stuff and appreciated being able to watch a video about it.
I've used the basket twice so far. I overloaded it the first time and I could feel it affecting my steering. The second time, I had a lighter load and steering was unaffected.
My shifting and brake cables fit well behind it.

I just got this Bike Basket for my wife and installed it on her bike. The installation was easy and the set up looks good and solid. The basket releases easily and snaps in place solidly. The price was good for such a quality product. I'd recommend it!
the clamp is super well built and them shims for different bar width are very helpful,
only complaint is the base of the bucket feels the weakest part of bucket the metal net feels little flimsy, and size of the bucket is okey for few drinks and some one person grocery shopping.an inner bag with a knot would be nice but no big deal i use a reusable grocery bag and works fine.

Product arrived on time! which is great as it is a gift. The basket itself is the perfect size for just about anything and seems completely durable. Only issue is it arrived w/o the quick release parts that attach to the bike and basket. I contacted etrailer, spoke to Judy and should have my parts Wednesday of next week! Judy was super helpful and that is greatly appreciated!
This was the only basket I found that would install securely on my daughter’s Raleigh due to it’s thick tapered handlebar. Basket installed easily and is very easy for her to detach an re-attach securely. I would recommend this product

i was very disappointed when I open my package and saw how unbelievably small the basket was. I have no plans to used because it is not the size for what it was supposed to be intended. I will return this item hoping that you have something that I can used.
The basket and attachment is an excellent product, good quality and easy to install. I actually install a wicker basket in-liew of the metal one.
