Can Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit Be Used on a Thule Adventurer Cargo Box

I have an Adventurer roof box with the TH04997 mounting system. The bolts are getting rusted and I want to replace them. I have a high vehicle, and it is very hard to get the bolts on the far side mounted I take the box on and off a lot. I would love to use the quick release of the TH05820 instead. Would it fit? Thanks!

The Thule EasySnap Mounting Kit will not work for your Thule Adventurer cargo box and has been discontinued.

I recommend to use the Thule QM3 Quick On-Off Mounting Hardware Kit, part # TH04997, that you have mentioned for the replacement hardware you are seeking.

Yes, it just depends on what box you have. If you have the Thule Weekender Cargo Box the correct replacement hardware is #1032802. If you have the Thule Adventurer Cargo Box the correct replacement hardware is #TH04997.
