Easiest Trailer Brake Controller Installation on 2017 Forest River FR3 Motorhome
Question:
What trailer brake controller is the easiest to install? When I found your reply to a customer with 2018 FR3 you gave direct answer for controller Prodigy and adapter harness for plug/play install. When I used your site to be sure it was same it told me it was not verified for 2017 FR3. Is there a difference from 2017 to 2018. Seems I remember one video that said Ford was different 2015-2017. I found the factory plug under the dash and the vehicle has factory wiring to rear/7 pin connector.I just need to connect those two, correct? Please advise and I can get it ordered! Thanks.

Innovative technology in Curt's Echo trailer brake controller # C51180 makes it by far the easiest trailer brake controller available for any vehicle that has a 7-way connector, whether a motorhome or a passenger car.
The Echo avoids all concerns with compatibility with the changing factory wiring in motorhomes and other vehicles. You will simply plug it into the 7-way, pair it to your phone and plug the trailer into the Echo and you're done. Please check out the linked video.
This unit is literally a plug-and-play install and all it needs is a functioning 7-way and for you to own a smartphone that is Apple 8.0 and newer or Android 4.4 and newer. Your phone will serve as both the display and hand control. No wiring, no splicing, no crawling under the dash of your motorhome. The Echo is also easily moved to any other tow vehicle that has a 7-way and there is nothing in the coach to bump your knees on.
There is no controller easier to install than the Curt Echo.
