Can Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter be Used on Grand Design Fifth Wheel

we are purchasing a grand design momentum 397th with a gvwr of 20K lbs. can I use the 20K Goosebox? I like to have a safety margin but as long as I dont go over 20k it should be fine right?

Yes, you can absolutely use the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP94720 on a fifth wheel trailer with a 20,000 lb GVWR like your Grand Design Momentum 397TH.
The Goose Box has a 20,000 lb towing capacity so as long as you do not go over that is going to be a great addition, giving you a more comfortable towing experience due to its cushioning air bag.
The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR will work for you so long as your Grand Design Momentum has a Lippert 1621, 1621HD, or 0719 pin box. It will also work with Lippert pin box 1716 but you would need to use Spacer Kit # RP61301.
