I do have a trailer hitch for your 2010 Chevrolet Equinox but the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76419 will not fit as it is designed for a 2018 - 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. For a 2010 model, I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98865 which offers the same bolt-on installation and 4,500 lb gross trailer weight rating when used with a weight distribution system and 3000 pounds without the weight distribution. It also comes with a matte black powder coated finish for protection and has a lifetime warranty.
I have attached an install video of this trailer hitch for you along with a photo. Once you watch the video you will see what holes in the vehicle that the hitch uses, and it will then become clear why the other trailer hitch will not fit.
