Compatibility of B&W Patriot Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch with Chevy Factory Puck System

Hey Im looking at a used patriot slider and the guy selling it has a ford adapter to the puck system, I was wondering if that adapter would fit in a Chevy puck system?

For a B&W Patriot Slider # BWRVK3270, there is currently not an adapter to fit the Chevy factory pucks. The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 6-1/2' Bed - 21K # DM6194 will work with almost any other sliding hitch, but they note it won't work with the Patriot slider. The Ford puck adapter will also not work as the puck locations are different between Ford and Chevy/GMC.

The Demco adapter # DM6194 will work well for any other sliding hitch that use the industry standard base rails. If you don't want to use an adapter, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3770 is designed for a perfect fit with your Chevy pucks system.

If you don't already have the 7-way in the bed of your truck, I recommend the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # A10-7007 to give you a clean connection with easy access.
