Recommended Industry Standard Base Rail Adapter For Puck System in a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500

I have a 2022 Chev 2500hd with standard bed and a Patriot 18k fifth wheel slider hitch. This truck did not have the OEM puck system. I just bought a 2022 Chev 2500hd with the OEM puck system and want to know is there a base I can use to swap the Patriot slider hitch over?

Congrats on the new truck! To use your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3270 you will need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR. The Patriot Hitches are different than the Companions as they do not have a replacement base you can purchase to change out the mounting point.
The item # C88KR will drop into your puck system of your Silverado and give you something similar to above-bed base rails. You'll mount your Patriot Slider in the adapter the exact same way you did with base rails, securing the four legs with pins.
If you are wanting to upgrade your 5th wheel hitch and not have to worry about an adapter then I recommend the B&W Companion Slider item # BWRVK3775. This sliding 5th wheel hitch has a 20,000 lbs capacity and includes the four legs needed to mount directly to your Silverado's puck system.
