Observation Camera Kit Recommendation for 2019 Jayco 212QB Travel Trailer
Question:
Hello, I recently purchased a 2019 Jayco 212QB Travel Trailer. It has the shark fin mount in the rear already there and I was to.d it was premiered for a camera. I am noticing there are strictly backup cameras and there are observation cameras. I want an observation camera. Which one would work on my unit, and when wired up will the running lights have to be on? Thanks for any help you can give me as one place says one thing and people are wiring them in direct and all kinds of things...

The Furrion observation systems like the part # FOS43TASF that you referenced is designed specifically for the shark fin mount you have on your 2019 Jayco 212QB. You'd simply just have to connect the wiring of the camera to the wiring present and you'd be set. The activation circuit that's there on your trailer is the running light circuit which means anytime you turn on headlights or running lights you'll be able to see behind you.
This kit has a 4.3 inch screen. For a larger 5 inch screen we have the part # FOS05TASF. I attached an install video for the camera kit for you to check out as well.
