Is SnowBear Winter Wolf Snowplow Updated Since Older Version for 1997 Dodge Dakota

Question:

I have a snowbear plow with a wench system the weight of the snow and wench have all pulled forward to the ground as we live on mount Rainier and the snow gets wet and heavy. What is the toughest plow set up for this? The actuator or the wench and hopefully this is an old design so they have updated it now so its not so prone to happen anymore

The SnowBear Winter Wolf Snowplow # SB324-166 that you referenced is an excellent option to replace your older SnowBear plow. It mounts to your 1997 Dodge Dakota using the mounting bracket kit # SB397-028 that you also referenced. The mounting bracket will need to replace what you currently have but everything would line up like what you have now.

I reached out to my contact at SnowBear and he said that they did update the structure of the plow to make it hold up better and the lifting system is more robust and has a colder operating temperature so it will work better for your application!
