I do have an option for you but a manual sliding 5th wheel hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # 16516 will not allow for proper turning clearance between the cab of the truck and loft of the trailer while executing a 90 degree turn on a truck with a bed shorter than 6-1/2' long. In order to obtain sufficient clearance you will need to use a fixed 5th wheel hitch and a rotating pin box.

For a fixed 5th wheel hitch I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 with the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50064-58 as this is an excellent starter kit that won't require any drilling into the frame and it will work with most airbag kits but if you can let me know exactly which model number you have I would be happy to confirm this. The dual jaws on the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch will be much more secure than the slide bar on the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch.

In order to recommend the correct rotating pin box I would need to know the model number of the pin box you have now. The most popular replacement is the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR which uses a Lippert 1621 bolt pattern. I have attached a help article for you on rotating pin boxes as well.

I have also attached some review/install videos on the above products for you.

Thanks for the additional information. The correct replacement for you should be the Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # ST400-5AS16K. However, in order to be certain you will need to measure the bolt hole spacing and make sure it matches up with the below measurements. I have attached a guide for measuring the bolt hole spacing as well. Leland 7920: (2a- 7"), (2b- 1-1/2"), (2c- N/A), (2d- 1/2"), (2e- 3/4"), (2f- 6), (3a- 21"), (3b- 28"), and (3c- 14") If it turns out that the Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # ST400-5AS16K won't work then the only other option we have for you is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550040 with the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails part # DM8552027-71 as it provides up to 22-1/2" of front to back travel.
