Recommended 5th Wheel Rails for a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 w/out the Puck System
Question:
I need a set of 5th wheel rails. I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. It does not have the towing package. I want to continue using my Reese M5 so I would need something compatible. Thank you

Congrats on the new truck! To add a set of 5th wheel rails to your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2505. These are made in the USA and fit both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed models.
The B&W item # BWRVK2505 rails are industry standard which means they are compatible with your Reese M5 item # RP30928 along with most 5th wheel hitches on the market. The brackets are custom fit and install in pre-existing holes in your Silverado's frame.
I have attached a couple of photos below along with an installation video so you can see what these rails look like once installed and how to get them set up.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C58FV. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
