Weight Distribution Shank for a 9-1/2 Rise with Pro Series Round Bar System
Question:
I am purchasing a trailer That has a hitch height of 22.5 inches. My tow vehicle receiver is 13 inch. 9.5 inch difference The trailer has a nice pro-series weight distribution kit model 49902 that only has a 5.75 rise. I would like to just replace the Weight Distribution Shank for one that will give me the extra 4 inches. Are the hole on the shank that the bolts fit through fairly standard width and distance apart so I can use a different brand of shank, or is there a compatibility guide? Does Pro Series had a taller shank that I know will work with this system?

Just about every weight distribution (WD) shank out there is compatible with other WD systems so we have exactly what you are looking for!
The Curt Weight Distribution Shank # 17120 gives round bar WD systems like your Pro Series 49902 a max rise of 9-1/4". Since this is only 1/4" difference this is perfect for your towing application!
Attached is a review video and photo with dimensions of this WD shank for you to reference.
