Curt Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation for a Draw Tite WD Trunnion System  

Question:

Have an old Drawtite WD system trunnion bars and a new truck. Height from top of new truck receiver to ground = 18 Height from bottom of old trailer coupler to ground = 15 I should need a of 3 inches if I have done the measurements correctly. This hitch shaft should give me the necessary and a little room for other potential future adjustments and fit the Drawtite HD head 1 1/4 inch spaced holes, correct ? Thank you for your help !

Your math is good, and the Curt Weight Distribution Shank part # 17120 should work very well for you based on that. This shank can do a max drop of 5-3/4 inches.
