Weight Distribution Recommendation that Won't Fail Over Time

Question:

Pulling 7840# 28ftTT today hit a large bump. Pow sounded like a shotgun went off. Broke a 1500lb blue ox wdh bar. This hitch is 6yrs old. Looks like it was cracked a bit prior to breaking. Call manufacturer no warranty. Got a pic of broken bar if you want to see it. Didnt buy it from you. Looking for replacement bars or new hitch. But dont want this issue again. Blue ox 1500# bars 6 years old 12k miles 2 bars 7840# trailer 600# hitch weight 2014 2500 silverado Yes it was defective the black area is a bit rusty so its been cracked for a while in that spot. Im glad it did not hit the camper or propane tank

The Blue Ox weight distribution systems have come a long way over the years so the current systems sold are improved but if you are wanting to never have this experience again I would recommend you go with a brand that has a better reputation in the weight distribution world like Equal-i-Zer like with the part # EQ37121ET which you can use with the shank you already have.
