Recommended 5th Wheel Adapter for 2018 Nissan Titan XD

reading your article on Demco 5th wheel adapter. I have purchased a Reese adapter and I have a 10K Reese revolution pin. My fifth wheel is riding 3 inches high and I have 9 inches clearance over box. What would be the best way to get my hitch 3 inches lower?

To lower your pin box height there are a couple options. First, I recommend adjusting your pin box to the position closest to your trailer if it isn't already. Next I recommend adjusting your 5th wheel hitch to its lowest position. Finally, you can change out your Reese Adapter which isn't a fit for you 2018 Nissan Titan XD for the Demco adapter # DM6200 which is a fit. This adapter will sit 2 inches above the bed of your truck which will be 1 inch shorter than the Reese # RP30156.
Those are really the only options to lower just the front of your trailer. If you need to raise the trailer at the axles to level the trailer, then I recommend the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00. This will raise the trailer at the axles by the axle diameter as well as the spring stack height.
