Anti-Rattle Hitch Extender Recommendation for Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier
Question:
I have Leisure Unity Motor home 2018 Looking at Roadmaster hitch mounted tire carrier Talked to Roadmaster about using a hitch extension as I dont appear to have adequate clearance. They recommended using their solid extension 071-1075. I am concerned with how much front to back sway as I have a fiberglass rear cap. Obviously I am trying to avoid contact. Any recommendations or comments. Will be using a 16inch spare Thanks

Since Roadmaster recommend you use the Roadmaster Anti-Rattle Hitch Extender # RM-071-1075 with the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 this would be a great option to extend it out that we know the manufacturers has determined is effective and safe. Since the carrier and the extender both come with anti-rattle/movement devices you wouldn't have to worry about sway like you mentioned either.
