For your 2018 Toyota Highlander, I recommend the etrailer.com Class III hitch # E98844 which has a nice matte black powder coat that matches the rear trim well. It has a high weight capacity and will work very well for your vehicle. I've attached a photo to assist. If you want a hidden cross tube, then the only option we currently have is the EcoHitch # 306-X7250 which is a nice clean look with a little more ground clearance.

Then I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118449 or for a 7-way # 22119. This also lets you easily add a brake controller like # 90195 which is my recommendation if you will be towing a trailer with brakes.

Finally, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10035B to give you a rise and drop to tow level. This also gives you the ability to store the ball behind the shank for a clean look when not in use. I also recommend using a hitch lock like # e98882 to protect your investment.

The EcoHitch part #306-X7250 that you referenced has towing capacities of 5,000 lb and 750 lbs tongue weight. If the weight of your small bass boat and trailer is less than that this would be a great hitch solution for your 2018 Toyota Highlander.…
